Yeah The Curls is Sydney’s first dedicated Curly Girl Method hair salon. Located in Seaforth on the Northern Beaches, you will find your home for all things naturally curly. The salon was opened in February, 2019, by Kimberley Marks.
Kimberley travelled to London in November of 2018 to train with Lorraine Massey, the writer and creator of The Curly Girl Method Handbook, to learn the art of dry, Curl By CurlTM cutting. In 2 decades of hairdressing, Kimberley had realised that there was a serious lack of education as to how to best take care of curly hair. That’s when she discovered the Australian Curly Girls Facebook group and decided to try the method for her own hair. The rest is history! Blown away by the results on her own wavy hair (which is now quite curly!) and so many results of others, there was just one thing missing: Hairdressers who could help everyday men and women to get the most out of their wavy and curly locks. So, Kimberley took a leap and went half way across the world to bring you the best in Curly, wavy and curly hair cutting and styling techniques.
